I received a Bachelor's Degree from Auburn University of Montgomery in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2008. I later returned to school and earned a Master's Degree in Gifted Education from the University of Alabama in 2014.

This will be my ninth year teaching 2nd grade.

My name is Amanda Preskitt, and words cannot express how much I adore teaching!  I grew up in Eclectic and have been proud to call myself a "Panther" my whole life. I graduated from Elmore County High School in 2004.  After high school, I attended Auburn University of Montgomery, holding firm to "Roll Tide" in my heart.  In December 2008, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I later returned to further my education by obtaining my Master's Degree from the University of Alabama.

I enjoy creativity on every level, and I'm always excited to incorporate it into my teaching. Besides teaching, I also enjoy running, which makes me a huge fan of the 50 and 100 mile clubs at school! I'm looking forward to a splendid year with my new favorite little people!
